Bangladesh Cricket squad take part in secret practice

Bangladesh Cricket squad took part in a secret practice at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in the city’s Mirpur on Sunday.

They participated in the training session under Head Coach of Bangladesh Cricket team Chandika Hathurusingha.

Earlier, the Tigers took part such kind of practice session.

Usually Bangladesh Cricket squad involved that kind of practice before a match or series.

But they started their practice after keeping top secret before the imminent ICC World Cup.

The Team Management of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) maintained secret for the practice of the Tigers.

It may be mentioned that the Bangladesh Cricket Board announced on Saturday last the 17-member Bangladesh Cricket squad for the upcoming ACC Asia Cup and ICC World Cup.

The media and the cricket fans of Bangladesh became astonished after BCB dropped Mahmudullah Riyad from the 17-member squad.

The Team Management of BCB decided that the practice of Bangladesh Cricket squad will be held after keeping secrecy at the ‘Home of Cricket’.

The photo journalists and the cameramen of television media can take the picture or video footage of the training session of Bangladesh Cricket squad for just 15 minutes.

After that the photo journalists and the camera crew have to leave the SBNCS. The decision has been started since Saturday.

Actually the Sri Lankan-born Head Coach of Bangladesh Cricket team decided to conduct the practice session maintaining secrecy to form Bangladesh Cricket team, according to his new plan.

Hathurusingha has maintained secrecy of the practice of Bangladesh Cricket squad as the opponent teams of participating teams of upcoming Asia Cup and World Cup cannot know the ability and technique of the cricketers.

Hathurusingha also tried to keep secrecy to send a physiological message to the opponent teams.

Hathurusingha has also given emphasis to keep the concentration of the cricketers during the training sessions.

The Team Management of the BCB has tried to avoid the discussion and criticism of the sports journalists. So, the Team Management of the BCB has taken an appropriate decision.
