4 young militants surrender to RAB
Staff Reporter :
The four youths wanted to return to their families after realizing their mistake after joining the militant organization. They tried to escape twice but failed.
As a result, the four youths were brutally tortured for several times on the orders of the top militant leaders.
When the elite force RAB operation started in the hills last year, they took the opportunity to escape from other militants.
At last they surrendered to RAB’s Narayanganj battalion on Tuesday. One of the four members of the militant organization Jamaatul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya is 16 years old.
The other three are Hasan Said (26), Sheikh Ahmed Mamun (23) and Md. Yashin (21).
This information was given by Commander Khandaker Al Moin, director of RAB’s law and media wing in a press conference held at RAB’s media center in Karwan Bazar of the capital on Wednesday.
