Saalim Wisdom School starts its journey

Saalim Wisdom School, a new English medium school following the course curriculum of UK (Cambrian), has started its academic journey with its inauguration on July 28, 2023.

The school, located in House no 12/B, Road 4, Dhanmondi, has been founded by Birmuktijoddha Alhaj Zamal Uddin who is also an altruistic person.

The school is a venture of Saalim Foundation.

Hedayetullah Al Mamun, a former Senior Secretary of Bangladesh who was present at the inaugural function as the chief guest, formally opened the school after cutting the ribbon.

Md Liakat Ali Khan, a former Tax Commissioner and a French language teacher at the Institute of Modern Languages, Dhaka University, was present as the guest of honour.

Sheikh Khurshid Alam, a former Secretary of Bangladesh government, was also present at the inaugural function.

Initially, Saalim Wisdom School has started its academic activities with 27 students and a team of nine teachers.

The school’s founder said that the school would be upgraded up to Advanced Level gradually.

The founder Birmuktijoddha Alhaj Zamal Uddin named the school after his son, Saalimuzzaman, who died a premature death after suffering from complications of typhoid.
