BNP fears path of democracy: AL

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said BNP (Bangladesh Nationalist Party) fears the way of democracy as they are the supporter of autocracy and terrorism.

They politics is grab the power through any kind of illegal way, he added.

Obaidul Quader said it in a statement send to the media on Monday as a response of the BNP secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir statement over the judiciary.

Obaidul Quader said, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam is talking about suppression of opposition parties and opinions! On the one hand, they are constantly holding marches-meetings and spreading shameless lies and propaganda against the government.

On the other hand, the opposition is raising false allegations of suppression.

BNP leaders talk about democracy but their hearts are full of extreme arbitrariness and lies.

The road transport and bridges minister said, Mirza Fakhrul Islam is now delirious because the so-called movement of BNP has failed.

The BNP leaders are disillusioned by not getting the expected response from the foreign masters and being repeatedly rejected by the people.

He said, BNP speaks different things every time. Sometimes foreign lords praise them in anticipation of their grace. Again, without getting the desired response, he lashed out against them.
