Fair election not possible with AL in power: IAB

Leaders of Islami Andolon Bangladesh has said that a free, fair and impartial election is not possible as long as the incumbent Awami League remains in power
“All the opposition political parties except Awami League desire for a free and fair election.

But a free, fair and impartial election is not possible as long as Awami League is in power,” IAB Ameer Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim said on the 32nd founding anniversary of Islami Chhatra Andolon Bangladesh in the capital.

He accused the Awami League of deceiving the country’s people and making false promises about holding unbiased elections.

“Those who are in administration are our brothers. They have somewhat compromised their impartiality in carrying out their duties. Their actions, involving the use of force, have stained our history with a dark chapter,” Rezaul Karim said.
