Light to moderate rain likely over country

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Thursday predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur across the country.
“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions; at many places over Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country”, said a met office forecast for the next 24 hours beginning from 9am on Thursday.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The Well-marked low over West central Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay off North Andhra Pradesh-South Odisha coast now lies over South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh.
The axis of monsoon trough runs through Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, the center of the Well-marked low to Assam across Gangetic West Bengal and central part of Bangladesh.
