Shakib shines with willow and cherry in Global T20 Canada

Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan shone with the willow and cherry for Montreal Tigers against Mississauga Panthers in the Global T20 Canada at Brampton in Cannada on Sunday. He played the key role for the victory of his team. Montreal Tigers defeated Mississauga Panthers by seven wickets.
Chasing Mississauga Panthers total of 140 for the loss of six wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, Montreal Tigers coasted home making 143 for the loss of three wickets when they had 25 balls to spare.
Shakib took one wicket in the space of 28 runs.
Later, Shakib hit a superb 36 using 24 deliveries including five fours and two sixes.
Montreal Tigers lost their early wicket for 12 runs.
Then, opener Chris Lean and Shakib Al Hasan added 60 runs for the second wicket partnership before Shakib Al Hasan was stumped out by wicketkeeper Azam Khan off Usman Qadir when Montreal Tigers’ score was 72 for the loss of two wickets.
Chris Lean remained unbeaten with 64. His 45-ball captain’s knock was laced with nine fours and a sixer. He carried through the bat and helped his side to anchor the victory target.
