Saiful Bari appointed Head Coach of BD Women’s Football team

The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has appointed Saiful Bari Titu as the Head Coach of Bangladesh Women’s Football team. Titu was the former Head Coach of Bangladesh National Football team. Earlier, the successful head coach of Bangladesh Women’s Football team Golam Rabbani Choton submitted his resignation for personal reasons.
Mahbubur Rahman Litu is the Acting Coach of Bangladesh
The BFF has appointed Saiful Bari Titu for the upcoming football competition of Asian Games, which is scheduled to be held in September. Saiful Bari Titu will act as the Head Coach of Bangladesh Women’s Football team from Wednesday.
Chairperson of Women’s Wing of BFF Mahfuza Akter Kiron said, ” The football competition of Asian Games and AFC Women’s Under-17 Tournament will be held in September. As the two football meets will be held in September, so, Litu Bhai will act as the Coach of AFC Women’s Under-17 tournament, while Titu Bhai will act the Head Coach of football competition of the Asian Games.”
Kiron said, ” We have cent letters in Japan and South Korea for a foreign Coach of the Bangladesh Women’s Football team. After resignation of Technical Director Paul Smalley, we requested Choton Bhai several times to return to his post. But Choton Bhai refused to come back to his post.”
After getting the appointment as the Head Coach of Bangladesh Women’s Football team Saiful Bari Titu said, ” I was free. The BFF proposed me today. So, I have taken the challenge.”
It may be mentioned that Saiful Bari Titu was the Head Coach of Bangladesh National Football team, which took part in the football competition of the Asian Games 2014.
