DSEX down over selling pressure

Indices of both stock exchanges plunged on Monday as investors sold off shares to book capital gain.
On the day, the benchmark index DSEX of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), fell 6 points to close at 6,361 and the Chittagong Stock Exchange all share price index CASPI lost 6 points to 18,784.
During the session, only 83 scrips advanced, 113 declined and 172 remained unchanged at the DSE.

The turnover value of the DSE jumped down to Tk932 crore compared to the previous session.
Fu-Wang Food was the top traded share on Monday which was followed by Khan Brothers and RD Food at the DSE.
Midland Bank was the top gainer, whereas Fu-Wang Food was the worst shares on the day.
