Nat’l Moon Sighting Committee meets today

A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee will be held today to fix the date of the holy Ashura, after reviewing reports on appearance of the moon of the month of Muharram of 1445 Hijri.
The meeting will be held at the Islamic Foundation (IF) Conference Room at Baitul Mukarram National Mosqueat 7pm, an IF press release said on Monday.
State Minister for Religious Affairs and National Moon Sighting Committee
President M Faridul Huq Khan will chair the meeting, according to the release, reports BSS.
