Joint meeting held in Gafargaon

A joint meeting was held at Upazila Parishad Conference Room with public representatives, government Officials, journalists and members of the society to declare Gafargaon upazila as landless on Saturday.
UNO Md. Abidur Rahman presided over the meeting held at Upazila Parishad Conference Room.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahfuzul Alam Machum was present as the
chief guest. At that time, Upazila Parishad Chairman Ashraf Uddin Badal, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Khandkar Yachin, public representatives of 15 unions and municipalities, journalists and all other officials were present.
It should be noted that on the occasion of Mujib centenary, Prime Minister’s gift house was given to 423 homeless people in Gafargaon in 4 phases.
