Two held with Yaba in Bhola

Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG), in a dive, last night arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 10,000 pieces of yaba tablets in Sadar upazila of the district.
The arrested were identified as Md Yunus, 44, hailed from Noakhali district and Asma Begum, 31, an inhabitant of Chattogram district, said a press release, issued by Media Officer of BCG Lieutenant Colonel Abdur Rahman, here Thursday.
On information, a team of the Dakhin Zone Coast Guard stopped a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Bangla Bazar area around 9:30 pm last night and nabbed Yunus and Asma Begum.
They found the contraband yaba tablets after searching the vehicle. They were handed over to Bhola Sadar Thana police today, the release added.
