BPUJS executive committee meeting held

The ‘Executive Committee Meeting and Open Discussion’ programme of Bangladesh Public University Public Relations Association (BPUJS) was held at the Bangladesh Open University campus in Gazipur on Friday morning.

The meeting was organize to determine the next steps for creating more harmony among the members including annual meeting, annual general meeting, induction of new members, organization of training to improve professional skills.

BPUJS President Md. Abul Kasem Sikhder presided over the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, the General Secretary of BPUJS, Agriculturist Din Mohammed Dinu, highlighted various organizational issues including the progress and activities of the previous meetings of the association.

Later, other members present at the expressed their opinion.

The meeting decided to hold annual general meeting at the beginning of January next year, to bring the dynamics of the organization with the inclusion of new members, and organize the training of the members through other institutions for the development of the public relations profession including the press institute of Bangladesh.

Maulana Bhasani Science and Technology University Public Rela-tions and Press Publi-cation Office Deputy Director and BPUJS Joint General Secretary Md. Samsul Alam Shiblee, Bangla-desh University of Professionals Public Relations Office Addi-tional Director and BPUJS Treasurer Md. Jahangir Kabir, BPUJS Organizing Secretary Krishibid Md. Bashirul Islam, Assistant Director of Information and Mass Communication Depart-ment of Bangladesh University and Publicity Editor of BPUJS Mohammad Al-Amin Khan, Assistant Director (Public Relations) of Jessore University of Science and Technology.

Abdur Rashid, Shere-Bangla Agricultural University Assistant Director (Public Relation) Agriculturalist Mustafa Patwari of Sher-e Bangla Agricultural University participated in the meeting, among others.
