Six Bangladeshi expatriates were killed in South Africa within 20 days which created panic among the Diasporas there.
On Tuesday, (July11), a group of gunmen were attacked Bangladeshi expatriate businessman Nazmul Hossain’s shop in Liden Delf area of Cape Town of South Africa and killed him.
Nazmul’s home was Dagonbhuiyan in Feni district in Bangladesh.
One day before that incident, robbers killed another Bangladeshi Diaspora Shamim in Postural area in Johannesburg.Bangladeshis said that the robbers demanded extortions from Shamim and killed him after failing to get the demanded amount from him.
Shamim’s home was in Shibchar upazila in Madaripur district in Bangladesh.
Besides, Rigan Islam, another Bangladeshi was killed by miscreants’ bullets on June26 in Busabello in Free State in the country.
The miscreants ambushed and fired him and fled after confirming his death, witnessed said.
On June25, Abdul Matin, a Bangladeshi businessman was killed by robbers in Stakeprint town in Eastern Cape Province in his shop.
