BD A Cricket team beat Afghan A Cricket team in warm-up match

Bangladesh A Cricket team beat Afghanistan A Cricket team by 23 runs in their warm-up match in Sri Lanka on Wednesday. The match was held marking the ensuing Emerging Asia Cup.
Batting first Bangladesh A team piled up a satisfactory total of 219 runs in 36.1 overs and then all-out Afghanistan A team for 196 runs off 36.3 overs.
Akbar Ali of Bangladesh team hit a superb 68 runs. He struck nine fours and two sixes in his 60-ball innings, while Parvez Hossain Emon scored 33 from 26 balls.
Mahmudul Hasan Joy made 27 runs using 40 deliveries.
Mohammad Ibrahim of Afghanistan claimed four wickets, while Sayed Shirzad and Bilal Sami bagged two wickets each.
Afghanistan lost their early two wickets for naught. Mahedi Hasan dismissed the early two Afghanistan wickets. Afghanistan lost their third wicket for eight runs.
Bahir Shah fought back making a terrific 100 capitalizing 86 deliveries.
Allah Noor of Afghanistan scored 29 runs.
Mahedi Hasan captured four wickets in the space of 22 runs, while Rakibul Hasan and Mrittunjoy Chowdhury bagged two wickets each.
The Emerging Asia Cup will start on July 14. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Oman are in same group. Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka on July 14, while Bangladesh will face Oman on July 16 and Bangladesh will meet Afghanistan on July 18.
