RU signs MoU with NSU for Chinese language

Rajshahi University (RU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Confucius Institute at North South University (NSU) in Dhaka for cooperation in the field of Chinese language education.
Under the agreement, a requisite number of Chinese language teachers will teach students in RU. Apart from this, scopes will be created for conducting various academic activities including exchanging teachers and students of both the institutions.

RU Institute of English and other Languages will execute the MoU, reports BSS.
RU Registrar Professor Abdus Salam and Director of Confucius Institute Jiawan signed the treaty at the RU administrative building conference hall on behalf of their respective sides and exchanged the MoU documents on Tuesday.
RU Vice-chancellor Prof Golam Sabbir Sattar, Pro-vice-chancellors Prof Sultan-Ul-Islam and Prof Humayun Kabir and Director of Institute of English and other Languages Prof Abdullah Al Mamun were present on the occasion.
