BNP gets verbal assurance for holding rally on July12 in Dhaka

The BNP leaders on Monday said that they have got verbal assurance from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in holding its public rally in the capital’s Nayapaltan area on Wednesday.
The party leaders said it to journalists after meeting with the DMP officials.

BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council member Abul Khair Bhuiyan and Publicity Secretary Shahiduddin Chowdhury Anee met DMP Commissioner Khandker Golam Faruq at his Bailey Road office in the afternoon and submitted an application to peacefully organise the rally.
