GAZIPUR : The Irrigation and Water Management (IWM) Division of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) arranged a midterm workshop on the survey project titled “Conservation of Groundwater and Increasing the Efficiency and Productivity of Irrigated Agriculture System of Bangladesh” at the FMPE division seminar room of BARI on Wednesday. Scientists and officials from different divisions and centers of BARI participated in this workshop organized with the funding of the Ministry of Agriculture of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Director General of BARI Dr. Debasish Sarker was present as the chief guest and Director (Support & Services) Dr. Ferdouse Islam presided over the workshop.
