Adopting ‘feminine mannerisms’ was physically exhausting: Tamannaah

Bollywood actress Tamannaah Bhatia opened up recently in an interview how she had to learn feminine mannerisms in the
beginning of her career.
The ‘Lust Stories 2’ famed actress shared that she
used to get advice from
producers that she will need to give up her boyish gestures in order to become a female artiste.
She was told that she needs to always be careful to look feminine and bring on the gestures while walking,
talking and even fighting.

The actress admitted that it was not an easy job for her, and since her school days people used to tell her that she walks like a ‘bhai’,
and she needs to work on it.
Tamannaah was passionate about becoming an actor and for that she had to change her personality, and she also said that the entire process was physically exhausting for her.
Keeping her back straight, being aware of the postures of her
shoulders all the time gave
her a tough time.

A lot of people talked on her back and even front, yet she decided
to chase her dreams which had cost her losing her own comfort zone.
Like Tamannaah there are a lot of women who often have to maintain such biassed rules set by the patriarchal society.
Meanwhile, two of Tamannaah Bhatia featurette
web projects ‘Lust Stories 2’ and ‘Jee Karda’ are streaming on OTT platforms. – Agencies
