Two siblings die after falling into septic tank in Kulaura

Two siblings died after they fell into a septic tank in Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar district on Sunday morning.
The deceased were -Hasan, 4, and his two-year-old sister Habiba. They were the children of Jahangir Mia of Hajipur village of Tilagaon union of the upazila.
Quoting the family members of the victim, sub-inspector of Kulaura Police Station Mohammad Ali said there is an abandoned septic tank behind the residence of Jahangir.

Recently the tank filled with water due to the rain. The two children were playing near the tank at around 9am and accidently Habiba fell into it.
To save her, Hasan jumped into the tank and died.
Later, relatives recovered the bodies of the children from the tank.
Inspector (Investigation) of the police station said the bodies were handed over to the family upon their request.
