BD take part in practice session

Bangladesh Cricket team took part in their practice session at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, the port city of the country on Sunday. Bangladesh Cricket team reached Chattogram on Saturday last.
Members of Afghanistan Cricket team reached Chattogram on Saturday night to play three-match One Day International (ODI) series and two-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series against Bangladesh Cricket team.

Earlier, Afghanistan Cricket team played a one-off Test match against Bangladesh Cricket team at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur recently. Bangladesh defeated Afghanistan by 546 runs on June 17. The lone Test match ended in four days.
Bangladesh will take on Afghanistan in the first ODI at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on July 5, the Tigers will face the tourists in the second ODI at the same venue on July 8, the home side will meet the touring side in the third ODI at the same venue on July 11. All the three ODIs will start at 2.00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time).
After the three-match ODI series, Bangladesh team and Afghanistan team will reach Sylhet to play two T20I at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. The hosts will take on the visitors in the first T20I on July 14. Bangladesh will face Afghanistan in the second T20I on July 16.

Bangladesh and Afghanistan take place in the list of top eight of ICC ODI Super League. Thus, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will take part in the upcoming ICC World Cup directly. Bangladesh will face Afghanistan in their first match of the World Cup on October 7.
Besides, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will compete in the ensuing ACC Asia Cup before they take part in the ICC World Cup. So, there is every chance that Bangladesh and Afghanistan will face each other in the good number of white-ball matches.

It may be mentioned that Afghanistan Cricket team came Bangladesh in February last year to play three ODI matches. Bangladesh won the three-match ODI series 2-1 in Chattogram.
