BADC held seminar over irrigation using solar power

Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) has organised a seminar over “Prospects and Challenges of Solar Irrigation Pump in Bangladesh and Achievement of BADC”.
The seminar held at BADC irrigation building in Manik Mia Avenue, in the capital on Wednesday.
BADC Chairman Abdullah Sazzad was present in the event as the Chief Guest while, its Chief Engineer (irrigation) Shibendra Narayan Gope presided over the programme.
Project Director of the micro irrigation by using solar power project, Engineer Md. Sarwar Hossain, presented the key note in the seminar.
Professor Dr. Engineer Md. Abdul Majid of Bangladesh Agricultural University was the main speaker in the event while, BADC Member Mojibur Rahman, Secretary Ashrafuzzaman and Chief Engineer (construction) Swapan Kumar Halder was the special guests in the programme.
