Over 3.55 lakh govt posts remain vacant, JS told

State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain on Monday said now the country has a vacant of 3,55,854 posts in different government offices.
“Now some 3,55,854 posts remain vacant under all the ministries/ directorate and field administration,” he said.

The state minister said this while responding to a star-marked question raised by treasury bench lawmaker Kazim Uddin Ahmed of Mymensingh-11 in the question-answer session which was tabled at the Jatiya Sangsad here with
Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
To full-fill the vacant post is an ongoing process, Farhad said, adding: “The process is being accurately. The posts remain vacant in generally due to regular retirement and creation of new posts.”
