Asia Cup 2023 will be held from 31st August to 17th September 2023 in Pakistan and Sri Lanka, Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced on Thursday.
However, the detailed schedule has not been released yet.
India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Nepal compete in a total of 13 ODI matches.
The tournament will be hosted in a hybrid model, which was proposed by Pakisran Cricket Board (PCB), with four matches being held in Pakistan and the remaining nine matches being played in Sri Lanka.
The tournament was originally meant to be held entirely in Pakistan but a hybrid model became necessary after the BCCI said India would not travel to Pakistan.
Bangladesh will play one match in Pakistan, which will be the second match of the tournament and the rest will play in Sri Lanka, a source of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) told Cricfrenzy.
