Bhabna’s two movies awaiting release

Ashna Habib Bhabna is a popular actress of this generation. A few
days ago, she completed the work
of her father Habibul Islam Habib directed movie titled ‘Japito Jibon’.
She played the role of Anjum in this movie. Anjum is one of the main
characters of the movie. The movie
is based on Selina Hossain’s novel.
Meanwhile, Shuddhoman Choitan’s first movie ‘Dampara’ starring Bhabna has already received censor clearance. Bhabna acted in this movie as the wife of SP Shamsul Islam, Mahmuda Haque Chowdhury. Everyone who has seen this movie at the Censor Board has praised Bhabna’s performance. The movie ‘Dampara’ was made based on the story of the liberation war.
While talking about her two movies – ‘Japito Jibon’ and ‘Dampara,’ Bhabna told this correspondent, “What I want to say at the outset is that I am very comfortable working with senior artists because many things can be learned from them outside of work. I really liked working with Ferdous Bhai in the movie ‘Dampara’. He is such a down to earth artist; his humility in everything really impressed me. Director Shuddhoman Choitan has tried his best to make the movie well which result but initially he got from the Censor Board. And if we have to talk about the movie ‘Japito Jibon’ then we have to say that I hope to act but I am inspired by seeing my father. I have always consciously wanted my work not to be under the direction of my father. But finally in this movie the entire team of ‘Japito Jibon’ including respected Selina Hossain wanted me to act in the role of Anjum. In making the movie ‘Japito Jibon’, the entire unit including my father has actually put in a lot of hard work. That’s why I felt that the movie has become an extraordinary movie. Really I am very optimistic about ‘Dampara’ and ‘Japito Jibon’ movies.”
It is noted that Bhabna’s two released movies are: Animesh Aich’s ‘Bhoyonkor Sundor’ and Nurul Alam Atique’s ‘Lal Moroger Jhooti’.
As the director Habibul Islam Habib said that the dubbing work of his movie ‘Japito Jibon’ is currently going on. After two more months the movie will be submitted for the Censor Board’s clearance.
