RAB arrests 2 with 4000pcs yaba in Bhairab

The members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab-14) have arrested two alleged drug peddlers from port town Akbarnagor along with huge yaba pills here.

They also seized a motorcycle and cash Tk.2800 during the drive on Saturday.

The arrestees are Md. Shafiquzzaman Rubbel (26), son of Hafizuddin of Nandail and Shakil (21), son of Bachu Miah of Kandhapara village of Bhairab upazila.

Major Shariya Mahmud, Deputy Director of RAB-14, in Kishoreganj camp ,confirmed the matter.

He also said that the RAB personnel found 4,000 yaba pills during searching their their bags. The arrestees admitted that they were involved in yaba smuggling.

The RAB-14 handed them over to Bhairab Police Station. A case was filed against them in this regard.
