Taskin and other pacers are my inspiration: Mushfik

Mushfik Hasan has been included in the Bangladesh Test squad for the lone Test match against Afghanistan. Mushfik took part in the coaching camp of Bangladesh Test squad at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on Thursday. Mushfik Hasan said, ” Taskin and other pacers are my inspiration. My favourite pacer is Kagiso Rabada of South Africa. I follow Kagiso Rabada.”
Mushfik Hasan played for Rangpur Division Cricket team in the domestic cricket competition. He showed a consistent performance in the first class cricket competition of the country. Thus, he has been called for Bangladesh Test squad marking the upcoming lone Test match against Afghanistan.
After the training session, the 20-year-old pacer spoke to the journalists. He said, ” The pacers of Bangladesh are my inspiration. Bangladesh have an superb pace department. Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Ebadot Hossain, Shoriful Islam. I have got inspiration after bowling with these pacers in the net.”
He said, ” Thanks to Allah that I have been included in the Test squad. I think I performed well in the first class cricket competition. So, I have been called in the Bangladesh Test squad. I have tried to show consistent performance in the National Cricket League (NCL) and Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL). I also tried to show consistent performance for Bangladesh A team against West Indies A team in the recently concluded three-match unofficial Test. If I get chance to play for Bangladesh National Cricket team, I shall try my level best to give my best performance.”
Though Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket team finished eighth in the last year’s ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, Mushfik bowled really well in that tournament.
