MCC Disaster Relief Group meet held

Panel Mayor 01 Md Asif Hossain Don said that Bangladesh is recognized as a role model in the world today due to the steps taken by the government to protect people’s lives and property by dealing with disasters. Mymensingh City Corporation is also implementing all the instructions of the government to deal with the disaster under the leadership of Honorable Mayor Md Ekramul Haque Titu. Mymensingh City Corporation stands beside people in all calamities like fire, flood. He also said that disaster can strike at any time. Be prepared for resistance. Our goal is to build a beautiful and safe city. Chief Executive Officer Md Yusuf Ali said that all committees should be made effective and active according to the government’s standing order on disasters to deal with disasters.

At this time, he gave instructions to the concerned to organize regular meetings of the Disaster Response Coordination Group. In the meeting, Mosik Secretary Md. Arifur Rahman, President of the Standing Committee on MCC Disaster Matters, Md. Niaz Morshed, Chief Health Officer Dr. HK Debnath, Public Relations Officer Sheikh Mahabul Hossain Rajeev, Supervising Engineer Md Zahurul Haque, Mymensingh Public Works Department Officer, Fire Service and Civil Defense representative, Civil Surgeon representative etc. were present.
