BCB refuses to issue NOC to Taskin to play for Yorkshire

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) refused to issue No Objection Certificate (NOC) to pacer Taskin Ahmed to play for Yorkshire in the County Cricket in the United Kingdom. Former bowling coach of Bangladesh cricket team Ottis Gibson, who is now the Coach of Yorkshire showed his interest to pick up Taskin Ahmed to play for Yorkshire in County Cricket. He proposed to the BCB for Taskin to play some red-ball matches for Yorkshire in County Cricket. But the BCB refused to give NOC to Taskin as the ICC ODI World Cup is knocking at the door. BCB doesn’t take any risk now as Taskin Ahmed may get injury while he will play for Yorkshire in County Cricket.
Chairman of the Cricket Operations Committee of the BCB Jalal Yunus said, ” Yorkshire give us proposal for Taskin to play for them in the County Cricket. But we don’t want that he will become tired after playing longer-version cricket matchers.”

Jalal said, ” Taskin has got recover recently from injury. He has been included our Test squad for the lone Test match against Afghanistan. We have some plans for him.”
Taskin Ahmed got injury during the ODI series at home. Then, he could not play for Bangladesh against Ireland in the Test match against Ireland. Later, he recovered from injury and he is now totally okay to play for Bangladesh against Afghanistan in the upcoming lone Test match.

Taskin Ahmed is now totally fit. He has been bowling in the net session at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur during the coaching camp of Bangladesh marking the upcoming Afghanistan Test.
Taskin said, ” It is painful to out of the squad due to injury. I could not take part in the World cup 2019 due to injury. I felt pity for injury in that time. I am now a good shape. I am confident that I can give my cent percent. I am expecting a good performance.”
