Girl student violated in Fakirhat

A so-called Kabiraj (Ayurbedik physician) named Kayem Ali alias Kaium of village Joypur within Naldha-Moubhog Union under Fakirhat Upazila in Bagerhat violated a minor girl student (13) of Class-VII in the name of giving treatment, according to a delayed report received here. In this connection father of the victim lodged a case with Fakirhat Model PS against the Kabiraj recently.
It is learnt from Badsha Bulbul, IO (Investigation Officer) of the case and SI of Fakirhat PS that on Monday (May 29) the victim accompanied by one of her class meets went to the house of the accused Kabiraj Kayem Ali at 3 pm for the treatment of her moles. Then the Kabiraj told, the moles should be rooted out with the help of some equipment and at that time no body will be allowed there. Then her class mat went out of the room and the Kabiraj took the victim into his room, shut the door and gave her something like sweetmeat to take. She took that and fell asleep. Taking the opportunity the debauched Kabiraj committed rape with her.
When she regained her sense the Kabiraj threatened her not to disclose the matter to any body else. When the matter came into light the so-called Kabiraj went into hide. It is learnt from a source of the victim’s family that as they are outsiders.
