Rice distributed among fishermen

Government humanitarian aid rice has been distributed among 663 fisherman families who refrained from harvesting jatka (small hilsa) in Borhanuddin Pauro area of Bhola recently.
Each fisherman family got a total of 80 kg of rice out of the allotted 40 kg for the two months of April-May.
Member of Parliament for Bhola-2 (Borhanuddin-Daulatkhan) constituency Ali Azam Mukul inaugurated the rice distribution program in the municipal area at 11 am on Monday.
Mayor of Borhanuddin Municipality presided over distribution ceremony by Rafiqul Islam. MP Ali Azam Mukul spoke as the chief guest. Upazila Chairman Abul Kalam Azad, Municipal Executive Engineer A. Sattar, BRDB chairman Jasimuddin, Upazila Fisheries Officer (current duty) Ali Ahmad Akand, Municipal Councilor Zoheb Hasan, Municipal Secretary Pranoy Kumar Saha also spoke at the time. Municipal Councilors, officials and employees of various professions were present at the time.
