Nipun’s impeccable performance in Zahid Hossain’s film ‘Azan’

The movie ‘Matrittwo’ directed by Zahid Hossain and starring Moushumi is
a landmark movie in Bangladesh film history. The famous and talented
director has made the movie ‘Azan’
with actress Nipun this time.
The story of ‘Azan’ movie is that after the Great War of Liberation in 1971,
in response to the assassination of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family in 1975, what was the impact of the socio-economic and political situation has been highlighted.
To highlight how the Dalit people of the village and the people who are in favor of freedom had to live a hard life because of the apolitical and bad culture.
Directed by Zahid Hossain, Nipun acted in a unique role in
the movie ‘Azan’. Director Zahid Hossain told this correspondent,
“Nipun is a National Film Award winning actress. The character that she played is a very challenging character. She did a great job getting into the character. That is why I have become more optimistic about the movie. We are actually waiting for the release of the entire team. For now the name of the movie is ‘Azan’ but its title may change.”
Zahid Hossain has also made movies ‘Jibonjontrona’, ‘Sonar Chor,’ ‘Subornobhumi, apart from ‘Matrittwo.’ Soon he is going to make movies
‘Hoor’, ‘Antorbash’ and ‘Gronthopoka.’
From last April 25 to May 8, the
shooting of the movie ‘Azan’ was completed in various locations of Kaliganj in the extreme heat.
Director Zahid Hossain informed that the context of the story of ‘Azan’ movie’s storyline is extensive from the brutal killing of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family on August 15, 1975 to Sheikh Hasina’s return to
her motherland in 1981.
This movie is produced under the banner of Revolution Movies International and Shishir Kothachitro. Cinematography by HHM Munjir, music direction by Abdur Rahman Roni, art direction by Sumon and choreography by Emdadul Haque Khokon and EK Azad, Zahid Hossain also said.
Apart from Nipun, Imtiaz Barshan, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Nader Chowdhury, Kaniz Suborna, Prapti, Jesmin, Shaon Ashraf, Maloti, Sajjad, Jibon, Zakir, Moharaj, Jalil, Dulal, Sekandar, child ariste Parvin and
many others acted in this movie.
