Pro-BNP lawyers demand arrest of Taposh

The pro-BNP lawyers in Supreme Court have demanded the arrest of Mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and Bangabandhu Awami Lawyers’ Parishad Member Secretary Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Tapas for his derogatory comments about the judiciary and threatto kill the civil society members.
They raised this demand from a protest rally and human chain program held on the Supreme Court premises on Monday.

Former Attorney General AJ Mohammad Ali, BNP’s Joint Secretary General and also former Secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Barrister AM Mahbub Uddin Khokan, BNP’s Legal Affairs Secretary Barrister Kayser Kamal, former SCBA Secretaries Barrister BodruddozaBadol and Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kazal, among others, spoke on the occasion.
On the other hand, pro-Awami League lawyers also held a counter rally on the SC premises protesting terrorism and vandalism.
