Day and night temperature may remain unchanged

Bangladesh Meteorology Department (BMD) on Saturday predicted rain or thundershowers in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am yesterday.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.

“Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places over the country,” said a Met office bulletin issued on Saturday morning, reports BSS.

Country’s maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 35.6 degrees Celsius at Dhaka, while Saturday’s minimum temperature 21.0 degrees Celsius was recorded at Bogura.
The highest rainfall was recorded 18mm at Tetulia in the last 24 hours till 6am on Saturday.
