Shahriar for expanding modern tech for boosting agricultural outputs

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahariar Alam, MP, urged the field-level agricultural officials and others concerned to expand the modern technologies to the grassroots farmers for boosting agricultural production.

He also called for substantial and sustainable expansion of modern agricultural technologies to the grassroots farmers for boosting yield to meet the gradually mounting demands, reports BSS.

Substantial and sustainable expansion of modern technologies can be the effective means of making the agriculture sector profitable and successful that is very important for ensuring food security.

State Minister Shahariar Alam came up with the observation while inaugurating a three-day Agriculture Technology Fair-2023 in the district as chief guest on Saturday.
The Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) organised the fair supported by the project titled “Agriculture Development Project of Rajshahi Division through Extension of Modern Technology” at Bagha Upazila Parishad Complex.

Upazila Agriculture Officer Shafiullah Sultan and Additional Agriculture Officer Kamrul Islam also spoke on the occasion.
