3-yrs old baby drowned

Nowrin Islam, a 3 years old daughter of Adv. Nurul Islam of village Katakhali within Baraipara Unon under Sadar Upazila in Bagerhat district was drowned in a pond, adjacent to her residence on Monday afternoon. It is learnt from the family source and police that on the day at 3 pm the ill-fated female baby was playing in the house-premises. But after a few minutes her mother did not fined her in the premises.
Then the inmates of the house began to search her and at one stage the body of Nawrin found floating in the adjacent pond. The baby was rushed to Fakirhat Upazila Health Complex where the physician on duty declared her dead.
Muhammad Alimuzzaman, Officer-in-charge of Fakirhat Model PS confirmed the matter and told, after completion the legal proceedings the dead body was handed over to the members of the bereaved family.
