Cyber Security Call Center going to be launched: BTRC

Staff Reporter  :
Cyber Security Call Center is going to be launched to ensure cyber security and help the victims in the country. Through this, all men, women and children can take the service.

In an event in the capital on Saturday, Director General of Systems and Services Department of BTRC, Brigadier General Md. Nasim Parvez informed this information.
The research release program titled ‘Bangladesh Cyber Crime Proneness – 2023’ was organized at Nasrul Hamid Auditorium of Dhaka Reports Unit.

Nasim Parvez said, we are going to launch a call center for cyber security. It will be a cyber security call center only. Through this, all men, women and children can take the service. Because victims of cyber crime are not only women or children. We are all victims of it. Here everyone can talk about his problems. The call center will have cyber security agents.

He said, in the research report of the last five years, we see that there is no major change in the data. Because people’s tendencies have not changed. The reason why he didn’t complain before, he still doesn’t do it for the same reason.

Therefore, the Director General of Systems and Services of BTRC emphasized on making people aware of cyber security. Stating that there is an opportunity for teachers to play a role in cyber security, Nasim Parvez said, research reports have revealed that our students are more affected by cyber crimes. When our children study they value and respect the words of the teachers more than the parents.

Therefore, through the teachers, they should be given an idea about cyber space at the psychological level.
