EDGE project official Jobayer Alam dies

World Bank and Bangladesh government-funded project Enhancing Digital Government and Economy (EDGE)’s skill development specialist Jobayer Alam died of brain hemorrhage at his residence in Tangail at 11pm on Thursday.
He was 43.
Alam is survived by his wife, two brothers, three daughters, relatives, colleagues and a host of admirers and well-wishers, said a press release on Friday.
He was laid to rest at Tangail central graveyard on Friday afternoon after a namaz-e-janaza.
EDGE family expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Alam and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
