Sarah Alam dreams of becoming a good actress

Sarah Alam is a presenter, a model and an actress. However,
she has a dream or desire to be a good actress. Although she
has not acted in many dramas or movies, she wants to establish herself as a cast actress in the niche to act in better story
based movies and dramas in the future.
Sarah Alam’s journey in media began in 2010 with a stint
as a Radio Jockey (RJ) on People’s Radio. Later, in 2015, she became an advertisement model for an organisation’s sanitary napkin under the direction of Amitabh Reza Chowdhury. Although the advertisement was not aired, Sarah’s presence
on the billboard was appreciated. She was able to catch
the attention of many people. In 2017, Sarah became an
advertisement model for ‘Teletalk’ under the direction
of the same director. Later, she also worked as a model
in seven to eight advertisements.
Sarah came to the most discussion as an advertising model by working as a model in the advertisement of ‘Rin Bangladesh’ under the direction of Amitabh Reza Chowdhury. The
dialogue titled ‘Adorsho Ar Kapore Ami Kokhono Dag Lagte Deina’ spoken by Sarah in this advertisement was quite
discussed. Sarah Alam was first seen in acting
in Rashaan Noor’s ‘Bengali Beauty’. In this movie, she played outstandingly well in the role of ‘Mita’.
She was first seen in the TV drama ‘Takata Koy’ directed by Vaskor Joni and AK Porag. It was difficult for Sarah
to give time for acting in TV dramas because
she used to work, according to the actress.
Last Eid, Sarah played the role of ‘Labonnyo’ in the drama titled ‘Nil Aporajita’ directed by Zahid Pritom, and
she was well appreciated by the audience.
However, in 2021, she also came to the discussion for acting
in Nazmul Hasan written and directed drama titled ‘R J’
and was praised for her acting. Mushfiq R Farhan
was her co-star in this drama.
Daughter of Nurul Alam and Sabina Yasmin of Khulna, the journey of Sarah Alam began her career as a presenter
with a programme on NTV in 2012. She can present
fluently in both English and Bengali languages.
Sarah Alam, who completed her studies in environmental
science from a private university, told this correspondent,
“One of my favorite actresses is Rokeya Prachy Apa
and Suborna Mustafa Apa. Although I am presenting and modelling but I really want to be a good actress. I want to
introduce myself as a good actress. I want to soak myself in
the love of the audience like Prachy Apa and Suborna Apa.”
