Attack on Bhairab’s UNO, case field against 11 men

An attempt was made to attack the Bhairab ‘s UNO while trying to free a trapped family in Bhairab Upazila of Kishoreganj.
The incident took place in Ghazirtek area of Bhairab upazila on Monday afternoon. The. UNO & Executive Magistrate in Bhairab Sadikur Rahman Sabuj was attacked by some miscreants while giving way to a blocked family. At that time, the situation calmed down with the intervention of local leaders and the police. According to locals, the family was blocked by a brick wall for a long time on various issues in Ghazitek village under Kalikaprasad union. Considering the humanitarian aspect on Monday afternoon ,UNO & Executive Magistrate Sadikur Rahman Sabuj led a team to free the besieged family. by trying Kalikaprasad Union Parishad Chairman Md. Liton Mia rescued Sadiqur Rahman from the angry crowd with the help of UNO security forces.
When contact to DC in Kishoreganj Abul Kalam Azad told The New Nation that, for a long time, a family has been passing the inhuman day by being blocked by the brick wall of the people around them. Based on the written complaint of the victim’s family, when Administration. tried to free the family from the blockade, the angry locals tried to attack us with indigenous weapons Ramda and Ballam
Ansar member APC Jamal Uddin, Ansar member Ashiq and Yasin Islam of UNO’s security force said, based on a written complaint, UNO went to free a family trapped in Ghazirtek area of Kalikaprasad union this afternoon when 10-11 people attacked them with indigenous weapons. Their body is blocked by force. Later UP Chairman came and rescued.
The Officer in charge( OC) in Bhairab Model Police Station Makshudul Alam conformed this incident Sohail Mia, a residence in Gazitek , said, a dispute has arisen between Humayun Kabir and the local people regarding land issues. Later, the local people built a brick wall around his house and at the cemetery site. The family was blocked by it.
