Mobile VAT Booth inagurated in Sylhet

The Mobile VAT Booth was inaugurated at Head Quarter of Customs, Excise & VAT Commissionerate, Sylhet organised by Excise & VAT Division, Sylhet on Monday.

Mohammad Akbar Hossain, Commissioner of Customs, Excise & VAT, Sylhet inagurated this Programme.
The Service providing programme by this “Mobile VAT Booth” will be continued from 8th to 9th May 2023 from 9:00am to 4:00pm in the different areas of Sylhet City. The Services including Online VAT Registration, Online VAT Deposit, Online Return Submission, Issuing VAT Chalan etc. will be provided during this time. Stakeholders can ask for any kind of questions or informations related to VAT & Supplimentary Duties too.

Akbar Hossain, Commissioner of Customs, Excise & VAT Commissionerate, Sylhet said that in order to strengthen & popularize the VAT System in Sylhet, this “Mobile VAT Program” has initiated to raise awarness among stakeholders & consumers about VAT & to reach the threshold of serivice reciepents. We are trying our level best to ensure this by this program. This program will be arranged in next time too, as all stakeholders & consumers get services seamlessly from this booth.
