Night temperature may rise slightly over country

Bangladesh Meteorology Department (BMD) on Friday predicted rain or thundershowers in different areas in the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am yesterday.
Day temperature may rise by (1-2)oC and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
“Rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places,” said a Met Office press release.
“A low pressure area is likely to form over Southeast Bay and adjoining areas,” it also said.
Country’s maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 35.4 degrees Celsius at Bandarban while Friday’s minimum temperature 19.4 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tetulia.
