Martyrdom anniv Qader Bir Uttam observed

The 52nd martyrdom anniversary of the brave freedom fighter Captain Aftabul Qader Bir Uttam was observed on Thursday. The programmes includes wreath laying, grave visitation, Milad and Doa Mahfil d at the martyr’s mausoleum under the initiative of martyr Captain Qader Bir Uttam Vidya Niketan.
On Thursday morning, the grave were visited after placing floral wreaths at the tombs of the martyrs at the Ramgarh Central Cemetery. CO, 43 BGB Battalion,Ramgarh Lt. Colonel Abu Bakar Siddique Saimum PSC, G+. Among others, President of the of Bir Uttam Vidya Niketan and former Khagrachari Zilla Parishad member Mongprue Chowdhury, former upazila freedom fighter commander Mofizur Rahman, freedom fighter Abul Kalam, freedom fighter Haji Shahidullah, freedom fighter Md. Bahar Uddin, freedom fighter Sirajul Islam, founder general secretary of Ramgarh Press Club, journalist Nizam Uddin Lavlu, journalist Shubashis Das, Bahar Uddin, Amdad Khan, Md. Mozammel Hossain along with teachers and children of Shaheed Captain Qader School participated in the event.
Later, milad and doa mahfil were held in the school to seek forgiveness for the souls of the martyrs. Khatib of Upazila Court Mosque Maulana Akhtar Hossain Jihadi and Maulana Md. Humayun conducts milad and doa.
Noting that on April 27, 1971, the fearless freedom fighter Captain Aftabul Qader was martyred in a frontal battle with the Pak Army and their allies Mizobahini at Mahalchari in Khagrachhari.
