Saidul Islam elected Jamuna Bank chairman

Md Saidul Islam has been elected as chairman of Jamuna Bank Limited for a one-year tenure.
The board of directors of the bank elected Islam unanimously in a meeting held on April 27, Jamuna Bank said in a press release on Saturday.
Islam joined Fabian Group as family business in 2010. Since then, he has helmed many portfolios of various companies of the group.
Currently, he is the director of Fabian Industries Ltd, Fabian Thread Ltd, Fabian Multiplex Industries Ltd, Fabitex Industries Ltd, and managing director of Frox Media Limited.
He is also chairman of Eco Advanced Construction Materials Company Ltd.
Born in Comilla in 1981, Islam obtained Bachelor of Science from Coventry University in UK.
He is the eldest son of Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) Minister Md Tazul Islam.
