2 fake note making gang members held in capital

Police arrested two persons involved in making and selling fake note using different social media platforms including Facebook.
The alleged two members of fake note making gang were arrested from Gogan Shantipur area of Khilgaon in the capital on Monday night.

The gang used to sell fake notes of Tk 50 thousand for Tk 11 thousand .
Also, after Eid-ul-Fitr, the gang had a plan to print high-quality fake currency.

The arrested have been identified as Al Amin (22) and Kashem Ali (22). During this time, several counterfeit money and some laptops, printers and software were recovered from them.

On Tuesday afternoon, DMP’s Media and Public Relations Department Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police KN Roy Niyati confirmed this information to the media.
