Bangladesh U-17 Women’s Football team in Singapore

Bangladesh Under-17 Women’s Football team reached in Singapore on Monday morning. The team flew for Singapore by US-Bangla Airlines on Sunday at 10-30pm and reached Singapore on Monday at 6.00am (Singapore time) to take part in Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-17 Women’s Qualifiers. Bangladesh Under-17 Women’s Football team will take part in their practice session there today.
Bangladesh Women’s Football team could not take part in the Olympic Qualifiers in Myanmar in the first week of April. Bangladesh Women’s Football team emerged the champions in the SAFF Women’s Championship recently. But Bangladesh could not take part in the Olympic Qualifiers due to financial crisis. India Women’s Football team have qualified for the Olympic.
The Youth Tigresses have been billed in Group-D with Turkmenistan and Singapore. Bangladesh will take on Turkmenistan on April 26 and the red-an-green outfit will face Singapore on April 30. One team from Group-D will play in the next round.
Bangladesh Under-17 Women’s Football team became runners-up in the SAFF Under-17 Women’s Championship recently. Bangladesh Under-15 Women’s Football team finished runners-up in SAFF Under-15 Women’s Championship recently.
Successful Coach Golam Rabbani Choton will act as the Head Coach of Bangladesh Under-17 Women’s Football team during the AFC Under17 Qualifiers.
