Saris and longi were distributed as Eid gifts to 320 families in Baharpur shelter project of Muladuli union of upazila. Upazila Jubo League president and minister’s son Shirhan Sharif Tamal, municipal panel mayor Abul Hashem, Muladuli UP member Banes Ali, municipal Jubo League general secretary Ariful Islam Liton, former Chhatra League general secretary Suman Das, Municipal Chhatra League president Abir Hasan Awami League, Jubo League and Chhatra League leaders and activists were present on the occasion.
Farooq Hossain, president of the cooperative society of the project, said, Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina has made us dizzy. And before Eid, Awami League leader Ghalib Sharif put a smile on everyone’s face with new clothes.
Ghalib Sharif said, according to the instructions of the honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, I have stood by the marginalized people before Eid. The leader has made a headache for the poor.
