2 held with arms, ammo in Chapainawabganj

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested two alleged arms traders with a pistol, six rounds of bullet and two magazines from Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district district on last Friday.
The arrested persons were identified as Md. Shahidul, 30 of Koylabari village under Shibganj upazila of the district and Md. Delwar Hossain, 25 of the same area.
Lt. colonel Md. Golam Kibria, director of Rahanpur Battalion (59 BGB) said, two special patrol teams of BGB from Sonamasjid border out post conducted raids at Koylabari village under Shibganj upazila of the district at 2 am and arrested the duo with the arms and ammunition. Later BGB handed them over to the police of Shibganj thana with a case, the sources added.
