A food distribution programme to unprivileged people organized by Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami Jubo League on the occasion of the holy month of Ramzan was held at Kamarpara School and College grounds under Turag police station Chairman of Awami Jubo League Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash was present as the chief guest in the programme held on the eighth instant. While speaking Parash said a section of the civil society of the country is now active to mislead the people. “Efforts are underway to implement a planned blueprint to prove that the government has failed.”Attempts are being made to create such a situation so that the common people lose their faith in the government,” he said, reports BSS. “Some media are now very nakedly played the role of the opposition party, the disgraceful revelations of which have recently come before the public through The Daily Prothom Alo’s yellow journalism,” he said.
The function was also addressed, among others, by Member of Parliament Habib Hasan, General Secretary of Jubo League Md. Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil, Presidium member of Jubo League Mamunur Rashid, Subhash Chandra Howladar, Publicity Secretary Jaydev Nandi. Acting President of the organization Zakir Hossain Babul presided over the event.
