Campaign to prevent early marriage
The Dhaka Ahsania Mission Combating Early Marriage in Bangladesh (CEMB), supported by District Administration in Kishoreganj and Plan International Bangladesh arranged a orientation workshop with Journalists was held a Collectorate Conference room on Tuesday. ADC (Revenue) & Deputy Secretary (DS) in Kishoreganj Mohammad Nuruzzaman attended as Chief Resources Person while ADM kazi Mohua Momtaj presided over.
Deputy Secretary (DS) & Deputy Director (DD) in local Government (LG) Md.Habibur Rahman, ADC (ICT& Education) Farzana Khanam and Deputy Director in Women Affairs Mamunur Rashid were special guests.

Sadar uno Mohammad Ali Siddique , Firoz Ahammed of Manager in Ahsania Mission Manager, District Coordinator in CEMB project , Senior journalist A.K.Nasim khan,CAB president and Senior Journalist Alam Sarowar Tito, The Daily Samakal Reporter Mostafa Kamal, and Advocate Lutfur Rashid Rana of Daily Observer.
ADC( Revenue) & DS Mohammad Nuruzzaman said that, The government Committed to eliminating child marriage to 2041. The government, media, development partners, NGOs, private sector and relevant statehouse must all work together to make it a early. The campaign alined at advancing the objective of Bangladesh 10 years National plan of Action to End child marriage (2018–2030).
Man killed in Bhairab road accident
A man was killed and four others were injured in a separate road accident in Kishoreganj on Monday . Two accidents took place in Bhairab and Kishoreganj
The victim’s named Faiz Muhuri (60) was killed in a truck crash in Bhairab town. He is a resident of Haji Asmat College road in Bhairab town.
The police and eyewitness sources, Faiz Muhuri was seriously injured when a speeding truck ran over him while crossing the road in the Haji Asmat Government College area of the Bhairab-Kishoreganj regional highway on Monday morning. The local people rescued him and took him to Bhairab government Hospital , the duty doctor referred him to Pangu Hospital in Dhaka. He died around 12 noon on the way to the ambulance.
On receiving the information, the police went to the spot and seized the truck along with the driver and took it to the highway police station.
13 traders fines
The Directorate of National Consumers Rights Protection (DNCRP) conducted action are taken under the consumers Rights Act -2009 if anyone . manipulates the priced of clothes during of shopping for Eid.
Prices tags should be attached to products at the factory level,not at showroom or retail outlets. If the rule is violates action will taken.
DNCRP urged the owners and sales staffs of clothing stores to be more respectful to customers.
DNCRP has fines at least 13 shopkeepers Tk 1.15 lakhs while conducting specials action on readymade garments in different shopping malls in Kishoreganj katiadi and Hossionpur town, last two days.
Ten traders were fined for various crimes against consumers rights.
